Tryon Creek Trillium Festival and Native & Hardy Plant Sale
April 11-12, Saturday–Sunday, 10 am–4 pm
Festival activities include guided nature hikes, a nature discovery open house for families, native gardening and nature presentations, as well as local craft and garden art vendors. Location: Tryon Creek, 11321 SW Terwilliger Blvd., Portland. Free shuttle from Riverdale High School on Terwilliger Blvd. during festival hours.
Cerro Gordo Prairies & Woodlands
April 18th, 2015 Saturday 10am
A tour for wildflower enthusiasts & volunteers, the Coast Fork Willamette Watershed Council is hosting a walk in conjunction with the stewardship committee of Cerro Gordo, a 1,000+ acre property uniquely managed for the preservation of the natural assets of land and people. We anticipate a number of local plant experts will join us in preparation for a larger public event in early May at nearby public prairie sites.
Bikes to Blooms Wildflower Volunteers & NPSO/CFWWC Members encouraged to attend.
At 10am we will meet and park at the Row Point Trailhead along the Row River Trail. Parking is limited, so a group will meet at the Coast Fork office (28 S. Sixth St., Cottage Grove) at 9:30am to carpool leaving by 9:40am. Space is limited, call (541)767-9717 to RSVP.

Glide Wildflower Show - 50th Year Celebration!
April 25-26th, 2015. Glide, Oregon
Founded in 1965, the Glide Wildflower Show is the largest display of native flora in the northwest. Over 600 species of flowers, shrubs, grasses, ferns, lichens and mosses are gathered by dozens of collecting teams who travel throughout southwest Oregon from the Cascade Mountains to the coast.
Oregon's changing weather provides each year's event with a different combination of species in bloom. Identity of each specimen is confirmed by professional botanists and artfully vased for display.
Additional displays feature noxious weeds, medicinal plants, natural dyes, and photographs of rare and endangered plants.
Mother's Day Birding and Wildflower Festival
May 9, Saturday, 10 am–4 pm
Learn about the native plants and view wildflower displays. Join guided walks, family hikes, and children's activities. Native plants will also be for sale. $5.00 day-use parking permit. Location: Silver Falls State Park.
Shady Cove Wildflower Show- 34th Year!
Bikes to Blooms Wildflower Tour
May 9th, 2015 Saturday 9am - 2pm
This bike-based wildflower tour will visit three sites on the Row River Trail along scenic Dorena Lake. Regional plant experts will lead participants through natural areas with native prairie plants in bloom. Participants should bring a helmet, water, a picnic lunch, and their bike in order to ride the approximate 5 miles between the three sites. All sites will be accessible by car, but riding is encouraged. Pre- registration is required and space is limited. See www.coastfork.org

NPSO Cheahmill Chapter Wildflower Show and Native Plant Sale

Central Oregon Wildflower Show
Irene Hollenbeck Memorial Wildflower Show
