Wildflower Hike: Enchanted Forest & Felton Memorial Trails

Siskiyou Chapter Native Plant Society is partnering with the Williams Community Forest Project to enjoy the early spring wildflowers along the Enchanted Forest and Felton Memorial Trails in the Applegate! The hike will begin on the Enchanted Forest trail where the group will walk through a ponderosa pine and white oak forest then through a meadow with spring wildflowers. The Felton Memorial Trail starts at mile marker 0.7 from the Enchanted Forest trailhead. The Felton Memorial trail is a moderately easy 3- mile round-trip hike with 400 feet elevation gain through fir, madrone, and oak woods. The hike will take approximately 2 hours or longer if you stop to look at flowers and enjoy the scenery. Bring lunch, snacks, and water.
